Well, Ryan and I did something that I thought we would never do...we put Taylor in a pagent. It was a lot of fun, but it was probably my first and last. She did not win over all, but
she did win best personality and smile. She's always our little princess. The first little dress is what she wore to the pagent to meet her competition. Crystal, my best friends mom, brought it up b/c she was so excited to have a little girl to spoil. The pretty little pink dress I bought for the pagent. Tina and Nana Pat helped me scope out the game plan for the pagent. We had a lot of fun, but we were exhausted at the end of the night.

Well, things are going good in the Chandler household. Taylor is doing well. She is cooing and smiling and just a perfect little baby. Travis is getting so big. He is now an opinionated little toddler. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with a long visit to see our parents. Since then, both kids have been sick. Its officially that time of year. We are making it though.
Tonight, we took the kids to chick-fil-a to the Christmas celebration. Travis loved to talk about the cow, but he would not pose with him for a pic. You can see how the Santa pic turned out! It was such a neat set up there. I love Chick-Fil-A! They had caroling, christmas stories, cookie decorating, and Santa rode in on the fire truck with the cow. It is such a family friendly fast food joint. Well, gotta go fussy kids. Have a great Christmas season!

Well, we have officially made it through a month with two kiddos. Things are going well. We are slowly adjusting to the juggling of two kids. Taylor is doing well and changing so much. Travis is adjusting well to her. He loves to give her bottles or pacifiers and take them from her. They had their first fight today about the pacifier. I love the time that I have with them!

Well, we have officially made it through the first week and a half with two kiddos. My mom has been up here this week and it has been such a tremendous help. I know that I could not have done it without her this week. Taylor is doing well. She is eating well and sleeps wonderfully in the day. At night, its a gamble of whether or not she will sleep. Travis is adjusting well. Most of the time he just goes about his business. It has definetly has gotten busier around here! Enjoy the pics!

So close but so far away......

Well, we have made it through 33weeks so far. Yes, it is so very true that you are more tired with the more children you have, and you do get bigger with each kid you have. Unfortunately, I have those Harvey genes. I am ready to be able to exercise again, vigorously. Taylor is doing wonderful measuring right on time. I feel like she could come tomorrow and be just as big as Travis though. We have her room almost done. I have a couple of things left to hang in there and a couple of more ideas that I am pondering on what to do in her room. So far, we love it though. I'll post pics when we finish it.
Travis is doing great. He is now saying around 10 words, all in his timing though. He is so funny and a great baby. I'm getting very nervous about him adjusting to Taylor and having to share time. It will work out though.
Ryan and I are both trying to keep up with the flow of things right now. Ryan is working like crazy. I'm still working full time at work and at home too. So, life is busy. Well, I better go and get some sleep. Have a great week and weekend!

Today we went for Taylor's 4D ultrasound. Everything looked great so far. All of her organs were developing well. She loved to put her feet in her mouth along with her hands. She is almost or a little ahead in size compared to Travis. She is weighing in at 3 lbs and 6oz. Travis was 4 lbs and 4 oz at 30 weeks. We had a lot of fun taking a look at her. God is good. We can't wait for her to get here. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hard to say good bye....
I want to dedicate this post to my grandma, Ivalene Hamlin. She was such a strong and dedicated woman to her family and to her friends. I admired her so deeply, partially b/c we have such similar personalities. She had been fighting ovarian cancer for 4 years. Unfortunately and very quickly Monday night, God called her home. She was such a beautiful person and one of my best friends. Saying good bye was the hardest thing that I have ever done. There were so many things that I wish I could have said before she passed away. However, most importantly, I know she is in heaven and I will see her again. I picture her to be Travis' and Taylor's guardian angel b/c I know that she'll keep them in line growing up. Grandmom, I am so proud of you; I will miss you so much; and I love you.
Please pray for my grandpa and my family as we grieve for her loss. I promise, Grandmom, that Travis and Taylor will remember you. I will miss our nightly chats!

Well,
Officially, I am a horrible blogger. Things have been crazy over the last few months. We have moved into our new house and started working on things for the new baby. Her room is a little to pink for me, so, we are soon going to be repainting it to a very pale pink. I might do a chocolate brown accent wall too. I am now 26 weeks along. Things are going great! She is an active little girl. We get to take one last peek at her next Tuesday for my 4D ultrasound!!! I'm anxious to see who she looks like b/c it was a very accurate picture of Travis. So, stay tuned till next week and I will post some pics of her.
Travis is doing well. He is now running around chasing the cats, into all my "prettys," and talking like crazy. His favorite words are: no way, no, dada, aww, ahh wee, and anything else you can manage to interpret from his little baby language. He is so funny and such a joy to sit around and watch. I absolutely love my time with him.
Ryan is doing well. Staying busy working. He is on call this month, which could mean more traveling than normal. So, we are crossing our fingers that he doesn't get called out too much. Well, here are some pictures of little man. I will take some pics of the house and post when we get our flower beds done. They need some serious attention.

A quick post. I got my parvo tests and cmv test back today. The results were negative. So, I'm going to a dermatologist tomorrow to figure out what the deal is with this mysterious rash I have going on my arms and legs. I promise to post pics soon. Love ya!

Wow!
I can't believe that it is the end of March. Time is flying by now that Travis is really mobile and exploring EVERYTHING! Travis is growing to quickly. He is taking steps on his own and learning to stand up by himself without pulling up on things. He is also working on eating big boy table foods. His favorite being anything that ends in potato. Also, he never stops jabbering. He is going to be such the little motor mouth. I love every minute that I have with him!
Ryan is doing well. He is getting good and into his new job. It is really keeping him extremely busy. He is home for a while now, and we are so excited.
I am doing ok. Its been a little tougher 1st trimester primarily b/c I can't get as much sleep as I did with Travis. Its ok though. One more week and I am officially in my second trimester. The baby is doing well though so far. I have some way contacted fifths disease. Something that everyone usually experiences in childhood. It can affect the baby but the chances are rare. I am waiting on my parvo titers and CMV titers to come back. If they are positive we will just have to watch the baby really closely. The most rare cases that it has caused complications in mom and baby are related to severe anemia for me and the baby resulting in blood transfusions for either one of us, possibly while the baby is still in utero. The worst affect being placental abruption. God is in control and I know that he is going to keep us both safe. The sex of the baby will be made know in either May or June so keeping watching for the baby's ultrasound pic and the exciting news.
Please keep our family in your prayers: we are working to sell our current house to get a little bigger one to make room for the new baby, Ryan is working hard to adjust to his new job, and pray for our health that everyone will remain happy and healthy.

I'm not doing well these days keeping this site updated. Things are crazy busy. Travis is doing well. He amazes me everyday with how much he is learning and how quickly he is developing. He is officially crawling now and chasing after the cats. He is babbling like crazy and saying "MAMA." I give Ryan all kinds of heck about him saying mama first. He is also pulling up now too. So, you can see why I haven't updated the site lately. We are learning to say "no no" every two seconds to him as he gets into things. We still aren't doing well in sleeping. He is now officially in his own room and out of our room. We also let him cry it out a lot now at night too. He's found my weakness though b/c I walked in last night and found him with his hands stuck through the crib rails, his head pressed against the crib rails, and he was screaming. I couldn't take it and picked him up. He won b/c we slept in the recliner.
Christmas was great. It started with as an unfortunate time with my great grandmother passing away. But we ended up really enjoying the holidays with family. Travis had his first Santa time on the road. His favorite thing was the paper. We were constantly digging it out of his mouth. We are glad to be at home and to have a lazy Saturday today. Hello to all! I finally have time to make a quick post. Little man is down for a nap. Wow! These last 6 mo. have flown by. Travis is doing so well. He is crawling around, and his favorite thing to do is make noise!! He's going to be a talker! We are currently working to teach him to sleep through the night. It is the hardest thing yet! I hate to hear him scream, but it's time for all of us to sleep through the night! I'm beyond exhausted!
We are excited about our first Christmas with Travis. Santa is stopping by our house early since we will be traveling to the grandparents for the holiday. I think Travis will be fun b/c he loves to tear up paper. He is such a little boy! We will have lots of pictures to post after Christmas!
Also, for an update on Ryan and I. Ryan has started a new job and loves it. He will be doing claims with Farmer's Insurance. I'm still working at Children's 3 days a week. Gotta go. Merry Christmas to all. We love you guys!

We took Travis to the pumpkin patch this past weekend in Little Rock. It was a lot of fun and good family entertainment. It will especially be fun next year when he is toddling around everywhere. Grammy and Pa were in Little Rock Fri. night for my Nana's angiogram, so, they came to stay with us. We all had a good time. We found little pumpkins for Travis so that we can take pictures of him playing at home. We also went to the new Babies R Us in Little Rock. It is awesome!

Travis and I went to Rhea Lana this weekend. It is a biannual consignment sale held in Little Rock and Conway. We go to both! Grammie and Pa came through Conway on the way back from their vacation and bought him a bouncy seat at the sale for only 17 dollars, instead of a Colorado t-shirt! Just a quick post today! Our baby is rolling over!!! It's so hard to believe and see how fast the little man is growing. He is so interactive now and it is wonderful! Travis decided to practice sharing last week and loaned Brayson his thumb to suck on. He quickly became jealous and wanted it back!

Well, we are quickly approaching Travis's 4 mo. birthday! It is so hard to believe. He's trying to roll over, but he isn't quite there yet. He giggles and it just takes my heart away. We have a bad habit of sucking our thumb, instead of the pacifier. He is such a big talker and it is so adorable. We are soon about to start rice cereal in our bottles and mommie is excited in hopes that he'll learn to sleep through the night. He is doing well with his very patient and awesome baby sitter Ms. Pat. Her whole family is becoming a part of our family. We are so thankful for them. Going back to work has been great with him being in such great hands. I still miss him like crazy though!! Ryan is doing well dropping him off to Ms. Pat every when I work and picking him up. Well, it has officially been 3 mo and 2 weeks since Travis was born! Time is flying by so fast! The little man is learning so fast too. He spits like a big boy and is almost rolling over. He and his little fingers go through wars b/c he wants to eat them so badly. He also is so entertained by the Baby Einstein movie that Lolli bought for him. No luck on getting him to sleep through the night yet or getting him to sleep past 5:00 am. It will come in time! Well, better go and exhaust him enough so I can catch a nap. Sleep is so valuable these days!

Well, today we went for Travis's 2 month check up. He is doing well! Weighing in at 14 lbs and 11 oz. Yes, I did a double take when I saw the weight. He is so long, 24 inches, so, he isn't really chuncky. He had 4 shots today, and I didn't think that it would bother me but it took everything I had not to cry. When we got home, it was nothing but a lot of TLC time, which I love. I head back to work next Tuesday, and I still have mixed emotions about it. I love my time with him and would be a stay at home mom in a heart beat. I have learned it is a full time job and so rewarding to be there to watch every little first smile and each developmental stage. However, I love my job too. So back to work I go, and I will cherish the two days off a week that I have with him. Those will be our days! Its going be a big transition for all of us, but Travis is going into an awesome situtation with Nana Pat to care for him. She's the sweetest lady. Truely a God send! Don't worry Lolli and Grammie, he'll just have 3 grandma's. Pray for us as we make this transition. I'm going to be in tears all day Tuesday at work.

This is Travis's best buddy and designated cousin Brayson. He is so adorable and looks just like his daddy! You have to hear his little voice. It makes your heart melt.
I'm sitting up like a big boy! Brayson brought over his big boy baby Bumbo and we had lots of fun with the babies.

We couldn't find the pacifier and Ryan was determined to get him to stop crying! It worked wonderful!

Well, Travis will soon be 2 months old! Wow! It is so hard to believe. He is now wearing his adorable 3-6 mo clothing. They are a little big but the newborn stuff was getting too short. He is getting up once at night now, which is a huge praise! I have 3 wks left before I go back to work and I absolutely not looking forward to it. Here are some cute pics of the little man! Today, we are waiting to hear from my brother Bryan and his wife Kellye. They will be having their first baby too, a little girl, Addison. We are so blessed this year with lots of babies. Christmas will be so much fun!

This week we went for our one month check up. It is so hard to believe! He now weighs 11lbs and 12.5 oz and is 22 inches long! She said he is eating well and an appropriate amount. We are doing a 1/2 oz of juice a day to keep away constipation. He still has a heart murmur and he has a small hemangomia on his butt. The doc wasn't concerned about either, so, I was so relieved! He is still not sleeping through the night but we are at least now sleeping for a 5 hour stretch before waking up. We are having a lot of fun with him b/c he started smiling big this week and is cooing like crazy. I could set around all day and listen to him coo! It is so sweet! Travis and I took our first road trip alone this week and it went well. He's really good in the car. I'll be posting pics of him soon. I'm going to sit around and catch him smiling. He is so handsome!

Well, Travis is 4wks this week and it is so hard to believe. Time is flying by. We are having a lot of fun with him and he continues to teach us new things daily. He is growing so much and changing daily. I'm anxious to take him to the doc next week for his one month check up to see how much he has grown. I give props to all stay at home moms b/c it is a full time job. One that I'm loving!

Travis and cousin Abbie!

Well, I know its no secret. Travis Hayden Chandler is here! He is now a week and a day old. At birth, he weighed 8 lbs and 9 oz and was 21 inches long. They started inducing me at 7:00 on Wednesday morning and he was born Wednesday night at 11:46pm. I won't go into the whole laboring process but it definetly wasn't a walk in the park! However, the most important part is our little boy is nice and healthy! We are so proud of him and so very thankful for all the support we had. We love you all! Ryan and I are so excited to watch him grow!

We owe a very special thank you to Crystal for rushing to the delivery to capture the birth for us. We are so thankful for your friendship! Your talent is amazing and you are such a wonderful mommie!

Well, good news. We went to the doctor today and I am beginning to dilate. Therefore, I will report to the hosptial Wednesday, May 30th, for my induction. Very scary and I know my nerves will be on edge for the next week or so, but Ryan and I are both extremely ready. There's always the possibility it could happen before then though. We'll see what these next 7 days hold. Please pray for us as we prepare for the next week or so. Lots to finish up!

Well, the theme of this week would be tired and anxious. Neither Ryan nor I are patient people and waiting on Travis to get here is beginning to get to both of us. I go back to the doctor tomorrow to see if anything has changed. If I'm dilating, he said that he would induce. As of right now, I'm sure that its going to be a big fat NO for inducing tomorrow. I have been very blessed through out this pregnancy with my health and Travis's health. Therefore, I feel selfish complaining and wanting him here now. Yet, I'm ready to hold my baby in my arms. It brings tears to my eyes to think about! I have two days left this week and my maternity leave starts. Please pray for Ryan and I as we stuggle with this waiting period, and that I will have the energy and emotional stability to make it through these next couple of days of work.

Just to update. Things are still going well. I think that Travis is enjoying my belly a little too much. I went to the doctor last Wednesday and no changes. He said that if I was dilated next week, he would look into inducing me the next week (38wks). I'm still a little scared about this. I'm kind of for letting nature take its course. Little white babies take their time and do what they want to do! I do not want a c-section! We'll see what happens! We are really ready for him. His bags are packed and ready to go the hospital. I'm going to work on getting ours ready to go this weekend. Hopefully, we have a little notice! Well, keep us in your prayers! Have a great weekend!

Coming down to the final weeks! Well, baby Travis is getting ready to be here in only 6 weeks!! We had a shower today at work and it was awesome! We got a lot of stuff!!! Its great to be working with such a wonderful group of girls! I couldn't ask for more co-workers. I love you all!!! Just thought I would do a quick update. Things are going well right now. I am now 33 weeks and feeling a great as you can for being 33 weeks pregnant. He's now a very busy little boy, which is so amazing to feel. There's absolutely nothing like it! I definetly feel like I can't stretch anymore, but apparently I can b/c everytime I look in the mirror my belly looks bigger. I think that he'll come out eating 5 oz at one time. HAHAHA! I just pray that he won't be to big for me to deliver naturally. We are getting so excited. I love to sit in his room and imagine what its going to be like to have him here. Please pray for us as we get through these last few weeks!

Today, we went for the 4-D ultrasound. It was an awesome experience. It was so neat to catch a peek before he gets here. Things look great though. He is weighing in at 4lbs and 4oz. About 15 1/2 inches long. He's measuring to be of the size of a 32 week baby, but I am only 30weeks along. No surprise here!! Also, definetly a boy!! He was very shy about having his picture made. The majority of the time, we had a good picture of his left arm instead of his face. We would try to wake him up to reposition him for better pictures and he would turn the opposite way. We did manage to catch a few good shots!! Have fun looking. We can't wait!! Ten more weeks! Time flys!!!

I'm getting bad about updating this. Wow, time is flying by. I am now 28wks!! We are all doing wonderfully. I'm getting really excited about everything. The house is beginning to look like it is being taken over by baby. Mom and dad came up a week or two ago. We went to these great sales in Little Rock and he is stocked up on clothes for the 3-6 mo. range. It was a lot of fun. We have almost gotten on the immediate equipment he'll require. We just like getting the smaller stuff now. I must say though he's already expensive. I have been praying to find a sitter for him inside the home. I think that today I may have gotten a lead. I started crying when the secretary at the church was telling me about her because she sounded perfect. She is going to spend a week or so praying over the situtuation and then she'll let us know. So keep this situtation in your prayers. I have really prayed about finding someone to be not only a babysitter but a grandma like figure. She sounds perfect. Anyways, I'm posting a pic of some of the stuff that we haven't arranged yet but we have added to the nursery. Its coming together wonderfully!! Have a great week. Hello everyone! I went to the doctor today and had my glucose tolerance test done. All was well. I passed! Travis is doing well. I was measuring about 24 cm, which is about right for my due date. His heart rate was 142. I can feel him really well now kicking. It such a neat experience. I can't wait until he can kick hard enough for Ryan to feel him. We got our information today to do the 4-D ultrasound. I think that we'll be scheduling it for either the last week of March or the first of April. So, stay tuned for more pictures. Its my long weekend this weekend and Ryan is off Friday. So, we are going to go shopping for Travis! Have a great week everyone!

Hey everyone! We went to the doctor today and had great news. We are having a boy! We are thrilled. Everything looked great on the ultrasound. The baby weighed 11oz and was measuring the size of a 20wk baby. However, we have big babies in our family so we just think that he is a little puggy. The due date is still the same. June 3. We have officially named the baby Travis Hayden Chandler. We are excited and ready to begin planning for everything. We have been blessed and God is good! More updates to come!

Hey everyone! A quick update. We are now 16 weeks along and things are going great. We went to the doctor last week and there was a strong heart beat at 150 bpm. Also, I had an alpha fetal protein test done to rule out some possible birth defects and it was negative. That news was such a blessing!!! Things are quickly moving along. I am finally gaining a little bit of a baby bump and its so much fun. I got to wear my first pair of stretchy pants last weekend and I love them. I'll post pictures soon of the baby bump. We go for our ultrasound next visit, Jamuary 9, to see if we can see the sex of the baby. I'm going to have a mocha and some orange before we go to wake the baby up. Everyone says its a boy so we'll see. I have no preference. Ryan wants a little boy! Merry Christmas to everyone! Happy new year!

Not much to update with at this time. We went to the doctor last Tuesday and everything was great. We heard the baby's heart beat with the doppler and it sounded strong. Things are going well. Its hard to believe that we are beginning our third month of pregnancy. No maternity clothes yet!!! Although, my new clothes that I just bought before the cruise are getting a little snug. I'm determined to wear them a few more weeks!! It has been a wonderful first trimester though. I'm so excited to begin the next!!!!

Today, we went for our second ultrasound. It was amazing how much the baby had grown in just a weeks time. We also were able to hear the heart beat again. It was nice and strong with a rate of 143, which is great. I'm feeling great though. My body is requiring food every few hours and that seems to keep the nausea away. I love the fact that I'm tired easy because it is truely the best sleep of my life! Other than that things are great! My due date is still on track for June 2. My cousin, Kristen, whom I'm really close with is due June 1. Crystal, my best friend, is due May 28, I think. So, its going to be interesting to see how close we actually come to having our babies at the same time. Its fun to have someone to compare symptoms with and so very interesting how our bodies handle it so very differently. Baby pool, anybody!

Here is the picture of the baby's first ultrasound on October 9. You can't really see much but we were really excited. We also heard the heart beat, which was really emotional and breath taking. Everything feels so real now and exciting! Maybe, that's just the nausea that has invaded my body this week! We are officially between five and a half weeks along or six weeks. The due date will be around June 2, 2007. We go another ultasound next Tuesday to make sure the baby is still developing well, and I'm officially released from my infertility doctor. Wow! I honestly thought it was never going to be as hard as it seemed to have a baby! Ryan and I began planning our family last October. Months went by with the heartbreak for negative tests and we were getting concerned. We were blessed to have the family support and encouragement to point us in a direction for finding answers. Thanks, Shannon! We went to an infertility doctor and on the first visit I was pretty much immediately diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. We were both immediately shocked and wanting to know what to do next. I went through two months of Clomid, as oral fertility drug, that got us were we are today. We are so excited and so very, very thankful that God has blessed us with this opportunity to have a child. We will continually pray for its healthy growth and development. We can't wait to meet our first child!
